You know, I'll trade this pathetic life of mine for the late King of Pop if I could. I still feel deep sadness in my heart when I read articles concerning him. I just love his voice but I must admit I'm guilty of not being a huge fan. In fact, I poked loads of fun at him because of the explosive court cases. Stupidity of mine, someone should fucking shoot my brains out for this. I never ever bothered to see the type of man he really was instead of laughing at him. I guess I'm one of those idiots who only see the superficial side of him so awfully depicted by the media during his down time. His own mother stated something that seriously caused some awakening of sense in me.
He never received credit for all he did.
But it's too late now that he's gone. It's a pitiful thing. Why did he have to go so quickly? Is it really true good people constantly die young? God, forgive me for saying this but, why can't you let the good remain with the corrupt and let them heal the wounds? Mr. Jackson helped and probably saved millions from his charity and more importantly, songs.
To be honest, his death was a sick joke on me. I skipped school on Friday, woke at 9 o' clock. I headed to my computer, my honey companion, and saw the personal messages on my friend's MSN. SERIOUSLY, I was quite taken aback. Thinking it's a sick joke as mentioned, I instantly typed Michael Jackson and hit "Enter" on my search engine. Gosh. Shit. FUCK! It IS true. I recall the entire day in a very dreamy state.
Just yesterday, my father finally bought some Michael Jackson compilation videos and songs. I watched. I was stunned. I bet this would've worked better than a stun gun because I was somewhat glued to that spot. Never moving. Just watching and listening. The dances. The songs. His style. His voice. Everything. Yes, pretty much everything amused me to no ends. If Date Masamune was with me, I'll make him sit down and watch so he knows what to dance for the next Sengoku Basara anime opening. If Kaito was next to me, I'll strap him down to a chair and let him listen to a person he MUST idolize for singing.
I know I'm super late for this but maybe... Better late than never? The King of Pop shall forever reign in the hearts of millions and billions to come. There will be no second King because there is only one and only one true Michael Jackson. Rest in peace, you are forever cherished.
