Kyousuke's invited Ranmaru over to his house. According to Ranmaru, Kyousuke's room's filled with books, books, books and probably swords. But he emphasized on the books more.
Now you know why you seem to look like an idiot/brat when you're with Kyousuke from a third party view, Ranmaru.

Ranmaru's being Mr.Insecure because he's a half Ayakashi and people in this village don't like half-lings. Kyousuke insists that it's okay, no one in his family cares, and even the servants welcome him because idiots like Raiou and the gang are discreetly helping out with chores in Kuki household and so on. And Ranmaru knows nothing bout Raiou and the gang's assistance. Kyousuke acts as though it's the most natural thing on earth for the gang to do. Ranmaru still feels worried. Ranmaru says that he's happy that Kyousuke treasures him and such, and that he treasures him too but worries if they're troubling Kyousuke. Kyousuke feels happy. Kyousuke thinks Ranmaru's unbearably cute. That's it, Ranmaru. You're fucked.
No. I meant it literally. Seriously.
Yes yes I cut down the story a lot. I've already said it, I'm skipping a lot. My memory isn't the best and I'm not gonna listen to the scene again because I refuse to roll on the floor laughing my guts out.
Either way, my perspective of Kyousuke FUKKEN changed right here. I thought he was a complete gentleman/samurai. I THOUGHT. He's so damn chivalrous in the game, seriously!! Here, he's like a smexy beast lusting hungrily for Ranmaru (not that I'm bothered by that *niyari*). And yeah, he's a man of words.

He describes every single thing he does, explains every single sensation Ranmaru feels... Aa, what some people would call a "noisy seme". This time, it's not that he's huffing or whatever.
He's TALKING. DESCRIBING. EXPLAINING!
Ooh, wait! There's a reason why Ranmaru got banged all the way till he seemed exhausted! It's gonna be a new year soon and Kyousuke's gonna get busy (Lol tis common in Asian countries, getting busy to usher in the new year and stuff like that). Now, you wouldn't want your lover cheating on you while you're busy, right? So what do you do? Be like Kyousuke. Bang your lover until you lover can't think of anyone else but you (when your lover decides to cheat on you for another person). Kyousuke DOES admit it but his reasoning was that so Ranmaru doesn't cheat on him and he'll be busy later on. Ranmaru reacts. Wrong move, uke. Very, very wrong move. You're just gonna get Kyousuke's... Oh never mind.
EDIT:
I quite forgot to mention that Kyousuke's seen Ranmaru a few times before their first encounter in the game. He actually confirmed my stalker radar. But he's not exactly stalking. Everything's coincidental, you see. Even so, it doesn't change the fact that he's actually creepy in the sense that he remembers every single moment he spie- saw Ranmaru verrrrrrrry clearly. In the first game itself, Kyousuke's coincidental encounters is scary. It's relaxing to know that towards the end, it's not a coincidence anymore. Kyousuke's straight out chasing Ranmaru. You wouldn't feel anything at first because Kuji/Kuki Kyousuke's a strong believer in fate/destiny/"enishi". He points everything at fate until you don't realize anything, until you sit back and start to think. "How many fukken times can a coincidence happen??" Here's the answer concerning Kyousuke's character :

Ranmaru tells Kyousuke not to go because he afraid that Kyousuke'll get killed in the mighty battle of Ayakashi. Kyousuke misunderstands this as Ranmaru thinking that Kyousuke's too weak to fight just because he's human. He proves Ranmaru wrong. By. Deflowering him. So to simplyfy the situation, it goes like this.
Whuut? You think I'm weak? Even though I'm a better fighter than you?? *raeps*
But it's not actually rape. It's consensual.
Oh, as you play the game, you'll know that Ranmaru's a completely pure and innocent. He's naive too. Hello Jailbait material! But there's guardians like Raiou and Koushiro, so don't even dream of dreaming of tainting Ranmaru in lewd ways unless you have a death wish. Worry not, there are solutions. You could be a crusader of fated encounters and whisk him off to xxxxland!
