Farewell to you

Why did Volken have to die? Never quite liked him but why did he, of all people, have to die? And worse of it all, he died like a martyr. Why? It's not like he did anything wrong at all. He had a cause. A worthy cause. He may be naive but he does what he believed. For someone as pure as Volken to die is a complete waste. He was gone while everyone still suspected him, making him even more of a martyr. But, even so, they still rang the bell for him, for the person he was. The crime committed, the death that had Volken framed as the murderer, was something impossible. Why couldn't they see it? Were they perhaps too clouded by their anger and hatred to see? He was clearly a man who valued life, but not many appreciate him. At very least, his death was severely felt by Mirepoc. She might not remember everything about him but at very least, she's affected by the loss. And, as mentioned, at least his morals were honoured at his end by the comrades he had. They doubted him, yet remembered who he was previously, and respected that part of him, the part of him before he left Bantorra at least. It's upsetting that he's not seen as who he was at his last hour by many....

Volken Macmani, may you rest in peace.

Hamyuts I hate you for killing off Volken. I really do.
